Child Protective Services is one of the things that homeless families fear the most, particularly if they are black or brown. Many people lose their kids when they become homeless. How do we eliminate disparities in child protection?

We will talk about legislation, county experiences, and personal experiences of parents and families dealing with CPS, as well as a foster parent perspective. We will also have some recent research about homelessness and child protection, and will hear from some legislators about what they are doing to eliminate these disparities.
