Advocacy
We don’t sugar-coat the experience. We take the message to people who need to hear it. Living with homelessness is expensive, difficult, and avoidable when policy makers can understand what we need.
-
Support
When partnership with other organizations is needed, we turn up. During COVID we helped Saint Stevens and ZACAH expand the services they were able to provide when their staff was reduced by the pandemic.

Resources
Parks, shelters, hotels. Anywhere, any time of year, we’re there to help with knowledge, resources, and connections. We are on the streets to distribute items and information directly to those in need.
In 2020, the pandemic shook the homeless community.
During COVID, we ran a hotel, hosted meetings in the hotel, ran security for the hotel, went grocery shopping, took people to doctor’s appointments, and helped people get their IDs. When people needed help navigating the court system, we went to court with people to speak on their behalf.
We assisted roughly 40 people maintain their shelter in the extended stay in the Bloomington hotels by providing rides, counseling, and meals without funding. We also provided those services to individuals in the Beltrami, Martin Luther King, and Powderhorn park encampments.
“We’re hearing their stories, we’re doing their paperwork and we’ve lived their stories. We're using the experience that people have had with homelessness to help our people.” - Junail Anderson
